The following "wishes" are listed in order of our preferences, but we greatly appreciate whatever sponsorship you provide, including partial funding for any of these items. Please check back as items will be removed from the list as they are purchased and added to the list as new needs become apparent.

Sponsor a Cadet - Send a financially needy cadet to summer training (in-state)

Annual Membership and Uniform Scholarships - (5/year @$200). Allows financially needy youth to join the Columbus Division, providing them with positive role models to encourage a drug-free, gang-free lifestyle. Recipients of these awards would be required to perform 40 hours of community service in return for this funding.

Advanced Training Travel Scholarship - (2/year @ $400). Allows financially needy cadets to attend out-of-state summer trainings; enhancing their experience and broadening their horizons. Recipients of these awards would be required to perform 40 hours of community service in return for this funding.

Merit Scholarships - (2/year @$400). Allows deserving cadets to attend summer training of their choice based on performance, academic performance, community service.

Summer Bivouac - Sponsor a summer campout that mixes field training exercises with FUN (food $40/cadet x 30 cadets = $1200.

BDUs - (30 sets @ $30/each (includes tapes and flashes). These would be issued to cadets wishing to attend trainings which require them - Seabee Challenge, SEALS, Master-At-Arms, etc.

USNSCC-Columbus Scholarship Fund - Provide seed money to fund annual scholarship of $1000.00. Scholarship awarded to USNSCC-Columbus member graduating high school in the calendar year. Fund to be renamed by request of $5000.00 donor.
